Government of Telangana will distribute Rythu Bandhu cheques from 17 November 2018. The second round of Rythu Bandhu cheques will be issued to the eligible farmers across the state of Telangana. The scheme has been successful during the first phase with huge response from farmers.

Rs. 4000 per acre:
Government of Telangana has decided to give input subsidy to farmers in the state in the form of cash. Each farmer will get Rs. 8000 per acre in the form of input subsidy. This will be given in two phases as Rs.4000 each.

The Government is ready to distribute second phase cheques. About Rs.6000 crores are being mobilised for the implementation of the 2nd round of the scheme.
Rythu Bhima Cheques:
Telangana Government is also implementing Rythu Bima scheme to provide insurance coverage to farmers. The insurance amount of Rs.5 lakhs will be issued to the family of deceased farmer within 10 days.
