How to encash Rythu Bandhu Cheques in Banks in Telangana

The farmers who have received Rythu Bandhu cheques under the investment support scheme of Government of Telangana can encash their cheques at the following PSU banks. The banks are SBI, Telangana Grameena Bank (TGB), Grameena Vikas Bank (GVB), Canara Bank, IOB (Indian Overseas Bank), Corporation Bank, Andhra Bank and Syndicate Bank.

The cheques can be encashed in these banks. Farmers have to encash the cheque after producing their new passbook and authentication letter from Tahasildar. Farmers who have linked their Aadhar number with passbooks have been issued cheques.

Documents required:

Farmers have been making beelines at Banks to encash the cheques. Banks have set up separate counters to encash Rythu Bandhu cheques by farmers. Bank officials have been advising the farmers to come up with original new passbooks, photocopy of Aadhar and voter ID card in order to get cash.

Give It Up:

Farmers can visit any bank branch of the above mentioned PSU banks with required documentation. The Government has also announced Give It Up programme, where farmers can return the cheques if they do not require the support from the Government.
