Siddipet Assembly Constituency has its own significance in the elections. The segment is an unarguable stronghold of TRS leader, Tanneru Harish Rao. Nephew of TRS boss KCR – Harish Rao is likely to get one lakh majority given the spike of margins he got in the previous elections.

Opposition parties are finding it difficult to select a candidate who can secure deposit back in Siddipet segment. The election statistics says that the opposition candidates did not get their deposit since 2008 by-election.

Chief Minister, KCR won six times from Siddipet Constituency since 1983. Harish Rao won five times and waiting to equal his uncle’s winning streak. The opposition parties usually concede their defeat much before the elections in Siddipet as they are not confident of stopping Harish Rao at least, till 2023 / 2024.
