Telangana Food Policy to Popularise Sakinalu, Pachi Pulusu, Jonna Rottelu, Varugulu and Muddha Gaarelu

Telangana Food Items The Government of Telangana is proposed to frame its own food policy. Telangana is known for its own food items. Sakinaalu, Sarvapindi, Pachi Pulusu, Muddha Gaarelu, Jonna Rottelu, Varugulu are some of the specials in Telangana. The Government of Telangana is proposed to make these available across the country and world and popularise its food culture.

High level committee will be formed to look into the food policy. Patents will be acquired for aboout 260 food items prepared in Telangana. Telangana food items will be made available in all hotels and dhabas as like Udupi Hotels and Punjabi Dhabas.

All chefs in the famous hotels in the state of Telangana will be trained in cooking Telangana food items. Telangana Food and Nutrition Institute will be set up to pursue research and education in Telnagana food culture.

Those who trained in Telangana food courses will be encouraged to set up hotels on their own. Loans will be sanctioned to them at affordable interest. Hotels which sell Telangana foods will be given rebate of Rs. 3 lakhs in Indian and upto Rs. 10 lakhs abroad.

Telangana foods will be served in all the official meetings of Telangana Government with foreign and local delegates, political leaders, famous personalities of local, national and international repute.
