TRS has released election manifesto for the ensuing Assembly elections in Telangana in 2018. TRS has announced various welfare programmes and promises such as loan waiver, increase of pension amounts, unemployment allowance, hike in Rythu Bandhu amount etc. Following are the important points announced by TRS Party:
1) TRS has announced Rs. 1 lakh farm loan waiver to benefit 42 lakh farmers in Telangana.
2) Rythu Bandhu amount will be increased from the existing Rs 4,000 per acre per season to Rs 5,000.
3) TRS has promised Rs. 3,016 as unemployment allowance to all the unemployed educated youth in Telangana. There will not be any cap on the number of beneficiaries.
4) Aasara pensions will be doubled. Age limit for old age pension scheme will be reduced from 65 years to 57 years. Another eight lakhs elderly persons will be included in the scheme.
5) Separate corporations for Reddy and Vysya communities with sufficient corpus funds will be created.
6) Aasara pensions will be increased from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,016. Pension amount for the differently abled persons (PWD) would be hiked from Rs 1,500 to Rs 3,016.
7) Two BHK housing scheme will be continued and more features were added to the scheme. Families having land of their own will be given funds for construction of 2BHK houses.
