AP Government is set to launch YSR Kapu Nestham on 24th June 2020. Under this scheme, Kapu community families will get Rs.15000 as one time benefit from the Government. The scheme is aimed at providing financial assistance to women belongs to Kapu community. Following are details of payment status, guidelines and application procedure.
Kapu Nestham in 2020:
Kapu Nestham first phase was implemented in 2019. This is second phase of the scheme. 2nd Phase Kapu Nestham amount will be credited into bank accounts of women of Kapu community in AP.
Link Aadhaar and Bank account:
All the eligible women have to link their bank accounts with Aadhaar cards. The Kapu Nestham amount will be directly credited into bank accounts of beneficiaries.
Kapu Nestham Beneficiary Lists:
Grama Sachivalayams in villages and ward sachivalayams in urban areas are authorised to implement Kapu Nestham scheme. They will prepare beneficiary list. Kapu Nestham Beneficiary lists will be available with Grama / Ward Sachivalayams.
Scheme Eligibility and Guidelines:
The objective of the scheme is to financially empower Kapu women above 45 years of age by enhancing their livelihood opportunities and living standards with financial assistance of Rs.75,000/-at the rate of Rs.15,000/- per annum.
- Women belonging to Kapu community and aged between 45 to 60 years are eligible.
- Total family income should be less than Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas and Rs. 12,000/- per month in urban areas.
- Total land holding of the family should be less than 3 acres of wet land or 10 acres of dry land or 10 acres of both wet and dry land together.
- No family member should be Government employee or pensioner
- Family should not own 4 wheeler (Taxi, Auto, Tractors Exempted)
- No family member should pay income tax.
- In urban areas family who owns no property or less than 750 sft built up area.
