The GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) of Telangana state has started the process of linking of Aadhar Cards with EPIC cards (Voter Cards). The process has been taken up in GHMC area of Hyderabad and adjoining Rangareddy, Medak and Mahaboobnagar districts.

The GHMC has appointed 5,071 booth level officers who will act as field functionaries for door-to-door verification of the Aadhaar and Voter Card linking.
