The President of India has issued orders providing local status to the migrants from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh. The Government employees and common people who migrate within three years from 2nd June 2014 to AP can claim local status of their residential district. This will be applicable to school, college admissions and government employment and other purposes which need local status. Following is the Gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India to this effect.
sir, I am a Central Government employee transferred to Hyderabad from Visakhapatnam in 2010. My daughter is studying inter second year. She will be appearing for NEET 2017. I want to claim local status of Andhra Pradesh. March-April 2017 I can request for transfer and go back to Vizag. please let me know how to claim local status of AP and what should I mention in the local status column of NEET application 2017 as I will be shifting my residence in April-May 2017.
