Chattisgarh Assemble Elections Results 2013

It is a neck and neck fighting between Congress and BJP in Chattisgarh. Both the parties are heading in 44 seats each with 2 seats are in favour of others at the moment. The BJP is slowly heading for absolute majority. It is leading in 45 seats as of 11 – 30 AM. Raman Singh will be the Chief Minister of Chattisgarh. Chattisgarh has become the strong state for the BJP since its inception. The Raman Singh administration in on top of the charts of development and good governance in the country. This positive environment may bring back BJP government in 2013 Assembly elections. The counting of votes for Chattisgarh will take place on 8th December and the results will be announced on the same day.

Several news channels have predicted that the BJP may face tough fight from the Congress. The CNN – IBN and CSDS – The Week survey has predicted that the BJP may secure 45 – 55 seats and the Congress will get around 32-40 seats.

As per the Times Now survey the fight between BJP and the Congress is even closer with 44 and 41 seats respectively. Todays Chanakya is in much favour of BJP.

India Today – ORG has predicted absolute majority to the BJP with 53 seats to its pocket and the Congress will be runner up with 33 seats. ABP – Nielson has predicted hung assembly with 44 seats each for the BJP and Congress party.
