Anitha Vangalapudi is an ex-MLA of Payakaraopet Assembly Constituency in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. She is representing TDP (Telugu Desam Party) and lost to Taneti Vanitha in 2019 assembly elections. Presently Anitha is the president of women wing of TDP, Telugu Mahila. Introduction of Constituency: Payakaraopet is an Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh. It is a Scheduled Caste reserved constituency. Anitha won this seat with a thin margin of 2800 plus majority in 2014 elections. She contested from Kovvur constituency in 2019 elections and was defeated by Taneti Vanith of YSRCP in that assembly elections. Anitha Vangalapudi has been playing active role in television debates and representing TDP.
