In a move to be ahead of others in the struggle for existence in Seemandhra, the employee organisation, APNGO has called for ‘Chalo Hyderabad’. The move is aimed at stalling the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh through seizing Hyderabad on 22nd January 2014.
There is no consistency in the protests of APNGOs. Earlier they called for Seemandhra Bandh on 17 and 18 January and revert back later. There always seems to be political calculations behind the announcement of dates for agitations.
The Assembly session convened to discuss Telangana Bill will end on 23rd January 2014. It is very clear that the APNGOs are trying to pressurize the legislators of Seemandhra rather than creating their own impact. Earlier also the employee organisation has called for several protests and cancelled due to lack of response from the people or political leaders.
