The AP government has ordered concerned authorities to frame guidelines for the regularisation scheme. It is proposed that the scheme will be applicable for the approved lay outs in Municipalities and towns. The scheme includes plots and constructions (houses / buildings). The regularisation scheme may not be applied to the lands and buildings in CRDA – Capital Region Development Authority Region.

The AP cabinet has also decided to allot 10 acres land to and Americal company called Pi – Data Center. The company will invest Rs. 600 crore and likely to provide employment for 2000 professionals.

It appears that the AP government is inspired by the recent regularisation scheme in Telangana State. The Government of Telangana has received huge response to this scheme and hundrends of crores were flown in to the exchequer in the form of penalties and fees for regularisation.
