AP Government Employees Housing Scheme – Eligibility, Allotment and Applications 2019

Government of Andhra Pradesh has released GO and mentioned certain guidelines for the allocation of house plots / flats for the Government employees in cities and towns of the state. Following are complete details of eligibility conditions, application process and allotment procedure under AP Govt Employees Housing Scheme – 2019

1) Employees has to be formed as an association to avail the plots / flats under AP / Amaravati Employees Housing Scheme.

2) A society must have at least 12 members. Employee must be a member of the society to be eligible for housing scheme.

3) Society member should not have any house site / house in the city / town concerned on his / her / children name. The member has to submit a self declaration regarding this.

4) Applications should be forwarded to the district collector through societies along with self declarations of the members. Collector has to display the details for public scrutiny.

5) If any member submits false information to the society, the district collector can take civil / criminal actions against them and cancel his / her membership from the society.

6) District collector will prepare proposals for the requirement of house plots / flats after the the completion of application process. Nominal price will be fixed by AP Land Management Authority. Plots / flats will be registered to the employees through their society.

7) The leftover members of society after the allocation of sites / flats will be considered in the next phase of allotments.

8) Construction has to be completed within 3 years after allotment. The house / site can not be put on sale for 15 years after the allotment.

9) House site / plot / flat will be allotted through lottery. Allotment details will be entered in service records of employees.
