Andhra Pradesh Government has issued new GO for the regularisation of illegal / unauthorised constructions in the state. New BPS (Building Penalisation Scheme) scheme 2019 is applicable for the unauthorised constructions taken up between 1st January 1985 and 31st August 2018. The property owners have to apply online through bps.ap.gov.in within 90 days. Applicable Areas:
BPS Scheme 2019 is applicable for all the unauthorized constructions in municipalities, towns, urban panchayats, village panchayats in CRDA area, Metropolitan Region Development areas, ILA areas etc. Constructions / houses less than 100 sq meters are exempted from BPS.
Charges / Penalties of BPS:
People have to apply online only through www.bps.ap.gov.in . You need to upload all the relevant documents and pay the initial minimum amount as prescribed by the Government. After the submission of BPS application, you can also check the status on the website.
