Following are details of Building Regularisation Scheme (BRS), earlier known as Building Penalisation Scheme (BPS) announced by the department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Government of Telangana in November 2015. The BRS penalties will be calculated per sft.
The Government has decided to not to consider the regularisation of structures built on lake beds, service roads and nalas etc. The committee headed by the Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has finalised the mofalities for BPS / LRS schemes and submitted the same to Government for approval.

Online Application: The online application process has not been started yet due to technical problems at the Government end. The applications may also be submitted through mee seva / e seva centers.

Is the BRS process still continuing? my apartment was constructed in 2015. So would like to regularize my flat. Please reply if the scheme is existing and ongoing or stopped.
The issue is in pending for disposal at High Court. Nobody knows when it will come out of court.
