It is observed that the distribution of new and corrected passbooks in Telangana State may take another month. About 3.5 lakhs passbooks need corrections, as per the official estimates.
Government of Telangana has issued new passbooks across 31 districts as part of reforms in land records under Dharani program. A total of 51.50 new pass books have been issued to the farmers. Out of these 9 lakhs passbooks have wrong entries in survey numbers, extent of land, names etc.
Errors in passbooks are attributed to the clerical mistakes at the time of entry of data through computers. The same data has been published on passbooks at the time of distribution of passbooks to the farmers.
The error rectification process has been stalled due to assembly elections. The work will be resumed soon and may be completed within a month.
Several farmers are not able to avail Rythu Bandhu scheme benefits due to errors in passbooks. Hence new passbooks with correct data will be issued to those farmers.
We got new passbook..but APGVB manager is not giving crop loan in mahabubnagar….he is saying dharani website is not opening….
The records are being updated as there are mistakes in several passbooks. The website may be activated after corrections.
