Following are the MPTC and ZPTC elections 2014 results in Andhra Pradesh. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has a reason to party this time in Andhra Pradesh after 10 years of exile from power. TDP is leading in both MPTC and ZPTC results in majority of districts.
Not far behind from its rival, YSRCP (YSR Congress Party) has managed to prove its metal in Rayalaseema, particularly in Kadapa, Kurnool districts. It is also leading in Prakasam and Guntur districts.

It is quite heartening that two regional parties viz., TDP and YSRCP have attained the status of ruling and opposition parties in residual state of Andhra Pradesh, wiping out the national party i.e., INC from the State probably forever just like it happened long back in Tamilnadu. Governance becomes easier for a regional party to manage the political affairs in the State itself instead of running to High Command in Delhi.
