Government of India has launched PM – Kisan Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi) Scheme to provide financial assistance to the farmers of the country. Rs.6000 will be given to the farmers in three equal installments. The first installment will be disbursed from 24th February 2019 to 31st March 2019. The second phase / second installment will be credited into bank accounts of farmers from 1st April 2019.
Aadhaar is Must: Read on PM Kisan and Aadhaar Update
Govt. of India has mentioned that Aadhar number is must to get benefits of PM KISAN scheme. If any farmer did not get Aadhaar card, he / she has to enroll for the same and provide enrollment number at the time of application.
Following documents are required to fill the application form of PM – KISAN (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana – 2019):
1) Aadhaar Card / Enrollment Number
2) Bank Account Number
3) Bank IFSC Code
4) Mobile Number
5) Land Details like Patta Number / Survey Number
It is clarified by the Government that Aadhaar is not mandatory for availing first phase installment. But it is compulsory for second and third phase installments. Hence farmers are advised to enroll for Aadhaar if they have not done so far.
