Ram Reddy Venkat Reddy was elected as an MLA for four terms. He has represented Sujata Nagar Constituency of Khammam district before it was demerged during 2009 Assembly elections. He contested and won from Paleru in 2009 elections. He defeated Tammineni Veera Bhadram of CPM (Mahakutami candidate) in that elections.
