Government of Telangana has all set to distribute Rythu Bandhu cheques from 5th October 2018. Second round distribution of cheques will be continues for more than a week. About 52 lakhs farmers are likely to receive Rythu Bandhu cheques this time.

The Government has advanced the implementation of Rythu Bandhu cheque distribution as the election notification may be issued any time in October 2018. TRS Government has also taken permission from Election Commission for distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques.
Rabi Distribution:
Rythu Bandhu Kharif phase has been completed recently. Rs. 4000 per acre was distributed to provide financial assistance for farmers. For Rabi season, Government has sanctioned Rs. 5720 crore for the implementation of the scheme.

The second phase of Rythu Bandhu was originally planned during November 2018. But the dissolution of Assembly has advanced the scheme. The Government has also written to RBI to facilitate funds in banks to encash Rythu Bandhu cheques by farmers.
Rythu Bandhu- Rabi 2018
It is informed that the cheques will have – Rythu Bandhu- Rabi 2018 printed on the them. The details of farmers and account numbers have been sent to Banks. The cheque distribution process for Rabi 2018 season will be completed by 10 October 2018.
