Rythu Bandhu Scheme Cheques Distribution to Farmers in Telangana from 10th May 2018

Rythu Bandhu in Telangana Telangana State Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao has launched Rythu Bandhu scheme from Karimnagar district of the state on 10th May 2018. The scheme aimed at providing crop investment support to farmers and also distribution of new pattadar passbooks to farmers.

Rythu Bandhu has been launched at Dharmarajupalle – Indiranagar in Huzurabad mandal of Karimnagar district. The cheques and new passbooks were distributed by officials across the state.

The CM has directed all the Farmers Associations Coordination Committees (FACCs) to work in coordination with farmers and officials to ensure that all the eligible farmers receive Rythu Bandhu Cheques, seeds, fertilisers and also MSP for the crops.

Salient features of Rythu Bandhu Scheme of TRS Government in Telangana State:

1) Investment support price of Rs. 8000 per acre will be given to farmers in Telangana.

2) The benefit will be given twie every year to maximise agricultural production and productivity.

3) A total of 58 lakh farmers to be benefitted from the scheme.

4) Rs. 8000 per acre to be paid annually in two pay order cheques of Rs. 4000 per crop season.

5) All the farmers in the state, including small and marginal farmers, SC / ST farmers and ROFR pattadars will be benefitted from this scheme.

6) The Government of Telangana has set aside Rs. 12000 crore in 2018-19 budget exclusively for Rythu Bandhu Investment Support Scheme.
