Second phase of the prestigious scheme of Government of Telangana, Rythu Bandhu will be implemented in November 2018. The second round cheque distribution for Rs. 4000 as part of input subsidy scheme will be conducted in November 2018.

Rs. 8000 per acre
Government of Telangana is implementing Rythu Bandhu scheme to help the farmers in procuring fertilisers, seeds and other agriculture input. Under this scheme, the Government will give Rs. 8000 per acre. This amount will be distributed in two phases by issuing cheques.
First round of Rythu Bandhu has been completed in July / August 2018. The scheme has been successful despite criticism on being not useful for many cultivators. The scheme is applicable only for land owners.

The officials are collecting the information of land owners and land to prepare the final list for the distribution of cheques under second phase of Rythu Bandhu scheme.
The Government of Telangana has allotted Rs. 12000 crore for Rythu Bandhu scheme in 2018-19 budget. Out of this, Rs. 5437 crore have been issued for Kharif season under first phase. The farmers have withdrawn Rs. 5165 crore in the first phase.
52 lakh farmers in second phase:
The Government has collected the data of 52.34 lakh farmers / land owners for the implementation of second phase of Rythu Bandhu scheme. Digital signatures of all the eligible farmers have been collected by the official. The scheme will be implemented to help the farmers in Rabi season.
