Smriti Irani was born on March 23, 1976. She was a model, television actress and producer. Smriti was the finalist of the beauty pageant Femina Miss India in 1998. Smriti Iani has become much popular with Sita character in Zee TV’s Ramayan. She produced several TV serials.
Smriti Irani joined in politics in 2003. She unsuccessfully contested against Kapil Sibal in 2004 elections. She also served as national secretary of BJP and All India president of BJP’s women wing.
Smriti was eldest of three daughters in her family. Smriti married Zubin Irani in 2001. They had children, Zohr and Zoish. Smriti Irani also runs an organization called, “People for Change”. This is working for providing drinking water to the poor people in India.
