United Nation’s Bio – Diversity Summit is under progress in Hyderabad. This is the first summit being held by India. The summit was inaugurated by Environment Minister Jayanthi Natarajan. About 150 countries are participating in the event. The five day summit is followed by Convention on Biological Diversity between 8th and 19th October 2012.
