Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC), Hyderabad has facilitated the voters in Hyderabad (GHMC Region) to check the status of their vote for the coming GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) elections. The voters in the twin cities of Hyderabad / Secunderabad can check their vote / ward / polling station through the new website of Telangana State Election Commission at www.tsec.gov.in .
Here is the step by step procedure to check the voter status and download the voter slip for GHMC elections:
1) Log on to the website www.tsec.gov.in
2) You will see Observer portal, candidate portal, voter portal etc. Choose Voter Portal.
3) Voter Portal will display following links:
– List of GHMC Polling Stations
– Search and Download Voter slip for GHMC election
– Know Your Sarpanch / MPTC Member / ZPTC Member / Mayor
4) Citizens can click on ‘Search and Download Voter slip for GHMC election’. Here you need to enter any one of the displayed fields. These are: Circle / Ward / Door No/ Name / EPIC Number.
5) You will get the result if you enter EPIC number. Otherwise the processing may take some time.
6) See your name in the list and click on the ‘Print Voter Slip’ to get it downloaded.
The details of voters enrolled till 24th November 2015 are available in the website. The best part of the site is you can download the voter slip from the website and need not search at the polling station on polling date.
