BPS Scheme in AP – Regularisation Online Application Procedure and Enclosures 2015

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced Building Penalisation Scheme (BPS) in AP. The unauthorized constructions in municipalities and towns, villages and cities will be regularised through newly formulated guidelines which will be available on the website bps.ap.gov.in . Online applications will be accepted for two months from 27th May 2015.

Enclosures to be attached with Regularization Application:

1) Aadhaar Card copy, Approved Development Plan copy
2) Auto CAD drawing of the present construction with details showing deviation from approved plan.
3) Pictures showing present condition of the building.
4) Receipt of the property tax paid in complete.
5) Structural Stability Certificate of the Building.

The BPS / Regularization Scheme 2015 is applicable for the constructions which were built during 1st January 1985 and 31 December 2014. The penalties will be imposed for the deviated part and extent of the building only.

Fee Payment:

Fee for the submission of online application for BPS Scheme / Regularization scheme is Rs. 10000. This should be paid online only if you are applying online for BPS. The Mee Seva centers will collect Rs. 100 as service charges if you are applying through Mee Seva Centers. The constructions in the area of 119 square yards, huts, temporary houses and G+1 RCC buildings are exempted from BPS scheme.

  1. My building plan was sanctioned/approved during the year 2014 and still under construction with bricks. Before present structure, there was kucchha house with palm tree leaves and have been paying property tax for kuccha house only. Therefore, our house with bricks has not been constructed as on 31 Dec 2014. As my house is still under construction as on date and freshly not assessed by local body, should I also apply for BPS. Please reply with authority.

  2. ground floor was constructed prior to 2006 with local panchayat approved plan. Later on, the villege was annexed by GVMC as zone-v. After the same was taxed by GVMC, the same was purchased by me with Tax payment pass book/receipts. In 2012-13, I have applied for first floor & second floor construction on the same bldg. Due to narrow road width the same was approved for first floor only. Now, my point is if I applied for this scheme, my first floor alone will be considered or together with ground floor? Since my ground floor was constructed before annexing by GVMC and taxed accordingly, that should not be considered. Please explain me if I was wrong or right?

    I have a flat in Visakhaptnam of 1050 Sqft. I consulted a person in E-seva Kendra to pay my BPS, but he is asking Rs20,000 (10,000 for DD and 10,000 for the government employee who is going to come for survey). I know that Rs 10,000 for DD is a must but the other 10,000 for the officer, is it really required? We are paying house tax on time and again upon that this huge amount for the government? Please suggest me what to do so that I can avoid paying unwanted amount because this money is a result of my hard work for my family and I don`t want it to go into someone`s pockets.

    I have registered account in Andhra Bank. Few days back, I have done one online transaction to Municipal government. Money has been deducted from the account but we dint get any acknowledgement or receipt. so i gave a complaint in Andhra bank (complaint no: 0531000518) but money has not been refunded yet. When can i expect my money to be funded back to my account. Following details may help you in sorting out this problem.

  6. I submitted my BPS application vide Transaction ID ; BPS/VIJ/C1/3/1789815; Dated 14-07-2015 ,through Mee Seva ,FK26. But Mee Seva centre wrongly entered my fathers name, email ID and mobileNo. Kindly guide me for correction; I furnish here under correct information for necessary change at your records; My father name; Radha Krishna Mohan Rao; email ID;namburi.nagabhushanam@gmail.com;Mobile No;9848023176

    • We have already applied for BRS in 2008 and as per the self computation table, we have paid 50% of the charges amounting to Rs. 4300/- vide cheque no. 381477 dtd 25/04/2008 submitted the documents as required on 25/04/2008. We were allotted the application no. 4030/CIR-14/W.Z./2008. We received an intimation notice with same application number in 2008 asking us to submit a list of documents which were not submitted with BPS applications like previous sanctioned copy, title deed, three sets of plans, property tax receipt, demand draft for Rs. 2597/- peanalistion charges, photos of roof slab and elevation, indemnity bond, NOC from Fire Services, and Airport Authority of India. As we were out of station for many years, we could not submit the same. Now as per the present scheme it asked to submit Fees of Rs. 10000/- and some other documents. Since I have already applied BRS and paid some amount, please guide us in the matter, as what to do now.

  7. Hi I have applied bps online, actually I filled fake details and payment done, because I would like to give my bps credentials to my engineer. How can I Update “Applicant Details” in the first step. Please help me anyone.

    We have been waiting for the scheme applicable for Gram Panchayats. Till now there is no official announcement from the government regarding this issue. My flat was built in Panchayati area with G+3. Unfortunately there is no plan approval for 3 Rd floor. It would be better for the people who are waiting for the scheme applicable for Panchayat areas also. so far this scheme is applicable for municipalities only. Could you please tell me when the scheme opens for Grama panchayat’s?
