Inner Ring Road Villages in Amaravati – Capital of Andhra Pradesh

IRR in Amaravathi The Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to come up with an Inner Ring Road (IRR) and Outer Ring Road (ORR) for its new capital city Amaravati. The Amaravati will have 97.5 km long IRR with following features.

Following are the important villages beside IRR (Inner Ring Road): Kachavaram, Vaikuntapuram, Pedaparimi, Tadikonda, Chinakakani, Pedavadlapudi, Nuthakki, Penamaluru, Nidamanuru, Nunna, Gollapudi, Ibrahimpatnam.

Features of IRR in Amaravati:

1) Length of IRR: 97.5 km
2) Length of the new roads: 67.5 km
3) Proposed National Highway bypass: 15 km
5) Modernisation of National Highway No. 65: 15 km
6) East Bridge on Krishna river: 2 km
7) West Bridge on Krishna River: 2.5 km
8) Land required for IRR: 1253 acres
9) Width of the IRR: 75 meters
10) Total land inside IRR: 1,21,224 acres (except river and forest areas)
11) Lands with future development prospects: 46224 acres
12) Population inside IRR: 19 lakhs (Present population)

  1. Excellent and most convenient.Go ahead start early and finish fast by the time ap new core capital is ready which will be very comfortable for surrounding inhabitants and for commuters from nh9 and nh 5

  2. It is excellent plan.. But here there is huge gap between the seed capital roads and the inner ring road. there are few villages like pedaparimi are not in pooling area. How they designed to fill the gap.
