Kamalanathan Committee Guidelines on Employees Division Between AP and Telangana

Kamanathan Guidelines for Employees Kamalanathan Committee, appointed by the Central Government to frame guidelines for the division of government employees between the new states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has released its recommendations / observations/ guidelines. Following are the important guidelines mentioned by the Kamalanathan Committee:

1) All the employees, except those retiring in a few days / years will not have options.
2) Employee couples and women employees will be given preference in the allotment of state.
3) Article 371 D will be taken as a criterion to determine the nativity / local status of the employees.
4) Group 4 employees will be distributed as per the nativity status.
5) Options will be given for handicapped, SC / ST and employees with chronic illness.

Local Status / Nativity will be finalised based on the 1975 Order on Service Register. Option will be given only once. Employees can send their objections on the guidelines on or before 5th August 2014.
