Government of Andhra Pradesh is making all the arrangements for Krishna Pushkaralu – 2016. The event will be celebrated for 12 days from 12 August to 23 August 2016 in Krishna, Guntur and Kurnool districts. There will be 156 Pushkar Ghats in these districts for the convenience of the pilgrims.
There will be 76 ghats in Guntur district, 74 pushkar ghats in Krishna district and 6 ghats in Kurnool district.
Main Ghats in Vijayawada: Punnami, Bhavani, Durga, Krishnaveni, Padmavathi; Sangamam and Ferry Ghats in Ibrahimpatnam; Amaravati, Dharanikota, Seetanagaram ghats in Guntur districts and Patalaganga ghats in Kurnool district.
Other Pushkar Ghats: Mukteswaram, Vedadri, Vijayakrishna (Krishna district), Samgameswaram (Kurnool district), Tallayapalem, Penumamidi (Guntur district).
