The Election Commission of India has announced MLC elections schedule 2015 in Telangana state. Elections will be held for 12 MLC seats under the local bodies constituencies quota. The polling will be held on 27th December for these seats. The election code of conduct will come into force in respective districts immediately.
Following is the schedule of MLA elections in Telanggana 2015:
1) Issue of election notification: 2 December 2015
2) Last date for filing nominations: 9 December 2015
3) Scrutiny of nominations: 10 December
4) Last date for the withdraw of nominations: 12 December
5) Polling: 27 December (8 AM to 4 PM)
6) Counting of votes: 30 December
