Nadendla Manohar in line with Congress High Command

AP Assembly speaker, Nadendla Manohar is perceived to be moving in the footsteps of Congress high command with regard to discussion on Telangana Bill 2013 in the Assembly. He is conducting the business of the house as per the directions of the Party bosses at 10 Janpath, New Delhi.

The (BAC) Business Advisory Committee meeting held on 6th January 2014 had ended without any compromise among the political parties. The TDP has walked out of the meeting citing the lack of information to discuss on the Bill.

Meanwhile, Nadendla Manohar has informed representatives of the parties that the discussion on the Telangana Bill 2013 has already been initiated and co-operation from members is expected for the smooth running of the house and discussion. Hence it does not matter whether particular members have deliberated or not on the bill. The bill has to be sent to Chief Secretary by the Speaker of the Assembly after 23rd January 2014.

Where as the rival camp is arguing that the discussion on AP Bifurcation Bill has not been initiated yet. The Bill has been tabled in the house and the discussion is yet to commence technically, says Seemandhra leaders from TDP and Congress parties.
