Koneru Konappa is a politician from Sirpur Constituency of Adilabad district in Andhra Pradesh. Konappa was first elected as an MLA from Sirpur Constituency of Adilabad district in 2004 elections. Koneru Konappa was defeated by Kaveti Sammaiah of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in 2009 elections. It is reported that Konappa is likely to join in YSR Congress Party. Konappa, along with former Adilabad MP and strong leader of the Congress Party, Indrakaran Reddy met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy a few months back. He may contest 2014 elections on the ticket of YSRCP.
