  3. This is a dare step but day by day it is giving suspicion among public.Even after 5 months it is still under consideration only. There is no clarity either from Bank Authorities and Revenue Officials or Agriculture Department. No body is giving clarity whether Adhar is based Or Ration card is based The bank authorities entered S.B account numbers in place of loan numbers. The revenue authorities are asking for loan numbers. Some people who are staying in near by towns and doing Agriculture in the villages where they own lands . The Pattadar passbook is showing village address where as the Adhar and Ration card shows town address. In such cases there is no clarity from the authorities. They own house in the village also and are cultivating lands by raising crops. Their names are removed from eligible farmers list. Please take necessary steps other wise government will get bad name.

    • Krishna Reddy garu,
The confusion is fact and misappropriation on the part of some people (not farmers) also may be true. The businessmen and employees those settled in cities availed loans from the rural banks located at villages assuming that the scheme will ‘benefit’ them. We should appreciate the Government if they really exclude those pseudo farmers and benefit the real farmers who stay in the villages and farming is the only source of survival for them. The point is simple… Why the government waive the loans of those who do not rely only on the income from farming?

      • The AP govt failed miserably in identifying the real farmers who were eligible for the rythu runa mafi. all people who hold agricultural lands and have crop loans against their lands are not farmers. the question they have to answer is are they into agriculture or not. if they are not then what is the point in giving them the crop loan waiver ( since the money they have taken from the bank has not been utilised for agri operations.
similarly tenant farmers who suffered heavily due the severe weather conditions, rising input costs and bad msp are not being benefited or compensated in any manner in this scheme.
the CM and his ministers are giving date after date as to when the 20% of the total loan waiver amount of 1.5 lakh is to be deposited.
to date there is no news on neither crop insurance nor the input subsidy for the severe losses suffered by the farmers during the last kharif season due to the series of cyclones hitting the coast.
        But who cares
