The Government of Andhra Pradesh has extended the last date for the submission of applications under Building Penalization Scheme (BPS) and Land Regularization Scheme (LRS). The applications can be submitted online till 30th October 2015. The department of municipal administration has issued orders in this regard.
The LRS and BPS scheme will be applicable to the constructions completed till 31st December 2015. The Government has started receiving online applications from 27th May 2015 and the initial last date has been ended on 27th July 2015.

The last date has been extended as the software developed by municipal administration received only 2000 applications per day and there is so much demand for the scheme from the people.
It is estimated that about 43000 applications have been received under BPS scheme of Government of Andhra Pradesh. Out of these, around 39000 applications are meant for regularization of residential houses constructed without permissions and deviations from the plan.

Please change – The LRS and BPS scheme to be applicable to the constructions completed till 31st March 2015. As many of the employees will take home loans and construction will complete for the financial year ending. One practical survey from the municipalities reveals the same.

In Telangana the BPS scheme is applicable to the constructions completed till 31st August, 2015 whereas in AP it is 31.12.2014. Please examine and extend upto atleast upto 31.3.2015 by AP govt.
