New Cabinet in Telangana – Ministers and Portfolios

At last, Telangana chief minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to expand his cabinet after two months of his oath taking. New cabinet ministers will take oath on 19th February 2019. The new ministry is going to be a mix of new and old faces. Following are the most probable faces of KCR ministry. Portfolios will be allotted after the oath taking ceremony.

1) A. Indrakaran Reddy
2) Talasani Srinivas Yadav
3) Vemula Prashanth Reddy
4) Koppula Eswar
5) Etale Rajender
6) V. Srinivas Goud
7) Singireddy Niranjan Reddy
8) G. Jagadeesh Reddy
9) Yerrabelli Dayakar Rao

KTR and Harish Rao:

KTR and Harish Rao will be left out of cabinet as they will be given with the responsibilities of Lok Sabha elections. They are likely to be included in the cabinet after Lok Sabha elections, depending upon the results.

No Women in Cabinet:

It seems KCR is going to disappoint women MLAs of TRS again as there is no news on women members in the new cabinet. Earlier it was rumoured that Padma Devender Reddy or Rekha Nayak will get berths in the cabinet.

Jogu Ramanna, Lakshma Reddy and Padma Rao of previous cabinet will be dropped and they may get party responsibilities or other posts. It is also learnt that Khammam and Rangareddy districts will have representation in the cabinet.
