Rythu Bandhu Cheques and New Passbooks deadline is June 2

Government of Telangana has set the deadline for the distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques and new pattadar passbooks to the farmers. The officials have to complete the distribution by 2nd June 2018, which is Telangana State formation day. The government has asked the officials of the Agriculture and Revenue Departments to complete the cheque distribution by June 2.

Dharani website for land records

There were reports of delay in the distribution of cheques and passbooks due to technical issues. The input subsidy of Rs. 4000 per acre will be given to the farmers in the form of cheques along with new pattadat passbooks. The new website, Dharani, intended for the new land records also will be launched soon.

New Registration System

The distribution of cheques and passbooks has to be completed by 2nd June 2018 as the Government of Telangana has to launch new registration system from the state formation day. Registrations will be done at Tahasildar offices along with SROs in Telangana from 2nd June.

Cheque collection from MRO offices:

Farmers who failed to attend Rythu Bandhu scheme and did not collect the cheques can get the passbook and cheques from the Mandal Revenue Officer’s office. They need to visit MRO office with any ID proof.
