Telangana Assemly election results will be out on 11th December 2018. Polling for 119 Assembly seats in Telangana State will be held on 7th December 2018. Result updates will be available from 8 AM on 11th December 2018. This time the contest has been close as all the opposition parties excluding BJP have joined together with a single agenda of defeating TRS party.

2018 Scenario:
The TRS is confident of winning the Assembly elections with more than 100 seats. While the Congress is equally confident of gaining power with more than 75 seats alone for it. The political analysts are cautious on predictions on Telangana elections as the contest is heating up day after day and there will be a tough fight for both the groups.
Congress and TDP alliance:
The Congress and TDP have joined hands defying the age old rivarly to unseat K Chandrasekhar Rao. Newly formed TJS and CPI also have taken part in Mahakutami, which is being named as People’s Front. The ethics and arithmetic of this alliance will have impact on winning chances of all the political parties in the state.

2014 Seats Tally:
Following is the tally Assembly seats won by various parties in Telangana State. TDP – BJP have contested together in that elections.
TRS: 63 seats
Congress: 21 seats
TDP: 15 seats
AIMIM: 7 seats
BJP: 5 seats
YSR Congress: 3 seats
BSP: 2 seats
CPI: 1 seat
CPM: 1 seat
Others: 1 seat
Several of opposition MLAs have joined TRS in the past four and half years. 14 MLAs out of total 15 MLAs of TDP have joined either TRS or Congress party. All the YSRCP MLAs also have joined party in power.
