Telangana state has 17 Lok Sabha seats. In 2014 general elections, TRS has won in 11 MP constituencies and the remaining were shared by Congress with 2 seats, and one each by BJP, TDP, AIMIM and YSR Congress Party.
YSRCP MP from Khammam P Srinivas Reddy and TDP member from Malkajgiri Ch Malla Reddy have joined in TRS afterwards. Gutha Sukhender Reddy of Congress party has also joined in TRS.
